Cornerstone Quilter's June Makes

Show and tell is a lovely part of our meetings when members have the opportunity to showcase their latest creations before the group. It is inspiring and often other members go on to make similar items and share designs and patterns. It also encourages new members to show their progress and it is amazing just how much is produced by a small group of enthusiastic stitchers.

Mo started this lovely hanging at our retreat in May, after winning the kit in one of our spot raffles. It was a great deal of hand stitching but she didn't take long to finish it.
Detail showing the embroidery around the centre ovals and the beading...... and the gorgeous tassel Mo made!
Here's a great Dresden Plate finish from Irene
Great detail here as each Dresden Plate segment was decoratively stitched.

Maria, our newest member has been busy stitching a panel to make a special Buddha cushion for her daughter.
and an effective monochrome cushion.

Caroline is getting ahead for Christmas finishing her Celtic Braid table centre which she started at the retreat.
Lorna made some super bunting.....with great motifs....
and the name beautifully appliqued.
A lovely addition to a baby's room.
A really pretty baby quilt, hand quilted.
Lots more to show for this month so keep popping in.
