Visit to Sticky Fingers Quilt Show

Last Saturday a group of our members travelled to Coppull to visit a super exhibition of quilts and allied crafts hosted by Sticky Fingers fabric shop in Spendmore Road. Great name for the road as it is certainly easy to "spend more" there with all the lovely fabric they stock.
The exhibition was held in the nearby Methodist Hall and Church.
First we paid a visit to the shop and the "Next Door Cafe" where we indulged in yummy cakes and a cuppa all for the amazing price of £1 each.
Some fabulous work displayed in the hall...

 Loved these detailed samplers.

This batik quilt was a gorgeous colour palette and so well balanced.
This excellent Bargello Tree Skirt was amongst the many Chr....as items (too soon to mention the C word).

Lovely sample quilt by this member of the group.
We moved across into the church to see many more examples beautifully displayed across the pews.

A creditworthy array of exceptional work.

Congratulations to all concerned for a fabulous exhibition.
Get stitching as there's only two more years before the next show!

Beautiful quilts. Especially like the red, white and black one as well as the hexagon one, last but one.
Great work. I always think they look great in a Church.
