How good to see such a lot of lovely work Your group is very talented. You must be very glad to have held your show before the clamp down. Ours - Oast Quilters Showcase in July hangs in the balance. The person who taught our Animal Stained Glass Mosaics class was Laura Thomas_Jenkins who is not a member of any quilt group but someone who has always sewn from childhood including her own clothes and who developed this technique from first principles when she was asked to make a cushion with a gecko on it. She is in her final year of studying for a PhD about endangered animals at Kent University here in Canterbury and once qualified will be seeking a job in her field. So this workshop was something of a one off and her fee was given to the cause. She does sell her work.
