All Creatures Great & Small in Patchwork

At this meeting we had yet another bumper bundle for "Show & Tell".
Irene brought in the completed top of her fabulous Attic Window Quilt.
It is so effective!
If you would like to make one of these the details and lots of excellent tutorials are to be found on by clicking on Missouri Star Quilt Co and via YouTube.

We had so many more makes towards our early May event.
Lorna is a wizz at making these nifty little purses which are so handy for tissues, keys, small coins etc.   Fabulous fabrics too!
Lorna made several stress busting sand filled frogs (waiting for their eyes to finish them off) and Pauline made the big fella.
Once you start handling them it's hard to put them down and they really are stress busters.
If ever you decide to make anything like this it is essential to use salt free sand that is sterilised, such as children's plays sand or bird sand, (however, the bird sand needs the grit sieved from it before use).

Jo is becoming the bag lady and turned out an owl and a cat this time.
Joan made a brood of cute owls and those little wings are handily shaped, especially to hold specs or pens.

These little purses, made by Jo,  hold the ribbon Crosses and a Cross in my Pocket poem.

Brenda made a lovely patchwork cushion cover and a few pretty little children's aprons which I am sure will go down so well.

Vintage style notebooks from Jo, plus pin cushions, a tissue pouch, and phone case.
