We have joined forces to help "Making for Charity" by sewing bags to hold syringe drivers for cancer patients.
Take a look at the website if you too would like to make some. For all the details contact Julie
HERE!
At this week's meeting there were over 30 bags completed by our members for the syringe drivers which control the patients chemotherapy or pain relief medication.
The bags all so lovely, and all so different, with fabrics of many topics and designs providing a bag to suit the taste of each recipient.
Each bag is appliquéd with a little red heart!
We are also making bags for the "Beads of Courage" which are awarded to children for their bravery during their treatments for cancer.
We have received 24 of these to date and once again there were many lovely fabrics in designs to please the children, boys or girls, tiny or teenage.
Fabulous fabrics with zoo animals, cows....
Paddington and penguins!
Stars, stripes, crayons and teds.
and even Dr Seuss pictures on these....
Such a great result which will no doubt be welcomed by the cancer patients young and old.
