Makes from March 2nd Meeting

Quick catch up on our last meeting.
(Photos in no particular order.)
Kathy made these fabulous mug mats for our May event. Too good to have drinks dripped on them!

Well done to Veronica, who  made this wonderful hand embroidered banner for her church and she will have it bound and finished in time to be hung up for Easter.
Caroline had been busy with quite a few projects.
A Book Bag for a young girl in the family....
This bright baby quilt above and she is also working on hand stitched hexagons, below.
Cilla is piecing Dresden plates in a lovely pink colour palette

Above, Irene is working on a French Braid table runner in lovely shades of browns and cream.
Brenda has been busy again making a selection of aprons and a lovely padded cushion

Jo made this small sewing related hanging

We are all contributing to appliquéing the letters of our club name on bunting.
Eventually, when they are all made it will proudly say....
CORNERSTONE QUILTERS

Pat Mc kindly gave a tutorial and demonstration for making an elephant toy.
Here's the one Josie made.
Many other items were made and brought in towards the sales table of our May event.

Bags, shoe bags, brooches, note books etc. but not all items were photographed, I'm afraid.
Our next meeting is tomorrow so no doubt this talented productive group will have plenty more to show since the last time we met.
