More March Makes

Irene completed this stunning, vibrant bed runner in shades of purple with Kaffe Fassett fabric for the backing.
This handy case, made by Pat Mc, will make a super sewing case or toiletries travel bag.
Margaret M found her panel and made a stylish table runner with it.

Mo made a large version of the triangular "jubbly" bag

and  also finished her fabulous apron ready for the show in July

Cushions came rolling in for the tombola and Lorna finished a set of six gorgeous Japanese round cushions, with a large handmade tassel as the perfect final touch.
A small scroll of fabric was added to the hand quilted backs.
Caroline is still enjoying the "Rob Peter to Pay Paul" blocks and made this modern mono cushion.
A novel tutu was added to this latest creation by Maria.
Jo used up some of her lace stash for these churn dash cushions and the applique heart.
Scraps made handy pot holders

Lorna made several super children's aprons from Paddington Bear fabric.

More round zip pockets from Jo
Shoppers in Kath Kidston fabric
A novelty adult apron
A simple to make tri-pot
Veronica finished hand stitching her lovely cushions
She has also completed several of the beautifully hand embroidered blocks, towards a special family quilt, which has motifs connected personally to her family.
Our next meeting is Wednesday! It is May already which brings our July exhibition scarily close.

Showers of Makes for April

Josie finished her magnificent Kaffe Fassett fabric quilt...

We had a flood of fabulous cushions in for our tombola stall at our July show.

Two table runners

More handy tote bags

A set of nifty bags

Above a couple of carrier bag caddies and, below, Fun Stress Buster Crazy Dolls.... not for children!

Here's the tag with the full explanation of the dolls
Handy mini aprons holding pen and notebooks to hang in the kitchen or by the phone.
The idea came (with thanks) to the ladies of Huyton Quilters at their recent exhibition I visited. I was kindly given permission to use their idea and in return they will use my Dammit Dolls.
Around the room at our meeting, busy fingers were making a variety of items.

Beautiful beaded and embroidered collar by Mo

Once again, well done to all group members, who are all working so hard. It's only just over 3 months to our exhibition and we need a good show to make it  a success.

Full details nearer the date but, for now, early details for your future planning;
